AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , ° AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE
NUMBER 764 , OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ,ARK-
ANSAS ,AS PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 26TH • DAY OF DECEMBER , 1933 ,
AND FOR OTHER PTTRPOSES ° .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE . That section one of Ordinance mumber 764 of the Ord-
inances of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , is hereby . amended
by adding the following after said section one. ( 1 ) , end in addition
thereto : That from and after April 1st , 1934 , and on the same date
of each ,year thereafter , the City Collector shall add and collect
a penalty of Two Dollars ( 52 .00 ) on each and all motor vehicles
in addition to the annual fee on such motor vehicle license .
SECTION T70 : This ordinance is hereby construed to be cumulative
and does not repeal any ordinance or part of ordinance now in force
unless in direct conflict therewith .
%ION THREE . This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
protection of the public peace , health and safety an emergency is
-hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage , approval and publication .
