AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , ° AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE AND DIRECT
THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE AND MAINTAIN PROCEEDINGS OF EMINENT
DOMAIN ON BEHALF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONDEMNING PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC IISE AS A STREET EXTENDING
WALL STREET EAST FROM GOVERNMENT AVENUE TO SOUTH SCHOOL STREET , IN
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS ,AND FOR OTHER PTTRPOSES " .
BE . IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : The City Attorney of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
Is hereby authorized and directed to file legal proceedings under the
statutes of eminent domain in the courts of the State of Arkansas on
behalf the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and to take all necessary
action for the accomplishment of the purpose of condemning the real -
ests.te hereinafter described , for public use as a street , extending
Wall Street East from Government Avenue to South School Street , situ-
` ated in the City of Fayetteville , Washington County , Arkansas , as fol -
-lows , to wit :
Beginning at a point on the East line of Government Ave -
nue which is ten ( 101 ) feet North and Fifty -six ( 561 ) feet East of the
South -east corner of Lot Eleven ( 11 ) , Coiihty Court Sub -division of the
South East Quarter ( SE4 ) of the South West Quarter ( SW4 ) of Section Six-
teen ( 16 ) , Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North , Range Thi�rty� ( 30 ) West and
running thence East Parrelel with . the South line of' Prairie Street to
the East line of the North and _South Alley , Blbck Fourteen ( 14 ) , Fergu-
son Addition to the City * of Fayetteville , Arkansas ; thence South Sixty
( 60 ) feet ; thence West to a point which is Sixty ( 601 ) feet due Soitth
of the beginning point ; thence *
_North to the point of beginning .
SECTION TWO • All ordenances and parts of ordinances in conflict here -
with are hereby repealed4 and this ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage ,gpprovsl and publication *
