Section 1 . All persons engaged or employed in the handling or manufacture of
fo pr ucts, dairy products, or soft drinks. of. whatsoever nature offered for
sale within the corporate limits of the City .of Fayetteville , Arkansas, and all
persons engaged in the operation of. ,a barber shop or beauty parlor in the City
of 'ayetteville, . Aikansas, shall subject themselves , to a medical examination on
or bafore ten days of June 20th, Sant. 20th , Dec . 20th2 ani Juarch 20th of each
and everyyear and obtain a 'health certificate from the City Health offi ce of
said City hho may prohibit the emnloyement of persons suffering of afflicted t-�ith
an infectious or contagious disease .
Section 2 . Any person , persons , fir,a, or corporation, engaged in the business or
manu� fac ure of food products , dairy products , or soft drinks offered for sale,
t:ithin the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas shall file with
the City Clerk on the firstday of July , October, ganuary and April of each and
eve!y year , together with affidavit that such employees or persona have obtained
a health certificate as required by this ordinance .
Section 3. Any pens m , persons , firm or corporation violating any provision of
his ""nance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall
be fired in any sum not less than five dollars { 5, 00 ) nor more than twenty-five
(625. 001 for each offense, and each days violation shallconstitute a ,separete
offense.
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of same , in conflict herawith, are hereby
repea a Kiri this ordinance being necessary for the immediate peace , health and
safety of the citisens of Fayetteville , Arkansas is to take effect and be in force
from the date of its passage .
