An Ordinance to regulate the inotall.at:ion, maintainance and operation of gaso-
line curb pumps within the corporate limits of the City . of Fayetteville , Ark.
DE IT ORDAINED £sY THE CITY 001MCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYEETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, to
install, maintain, or operate any gasoline curb pump within the corporate
limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas without first having obtained
a written permit in writing to be issued by the City Clerk after the City
Council has approved of such curb pump or pumps and consented to its installa-
tion and operation, it being solely within the discretion of ..the City Council
whether such permit shall issue or not.
SECTION 2. Furthermore , that a license shall be issued and collected as all
other such licenses due the City for the privilege of such installation, main-
taining or operating .such curb pump or pumps , and the license fee shall be
$10.00 per. pump per year.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm, or corporation violating this Ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall urdon conviction be fined in any
sum not less than }¢5. 00 nor more than ;125.00 and each day shall constitute
a separate offense .
SECTION !a- That all Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage
and publication.
