AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PAVIIvNG IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER
45 ,DESIGNATING THE SAME. . AND APPOINTING ITS BOARD. , OF IMPROVEMENT ,
WHEREAS ;
Persons claiming to - tie the owners of a majority in assessed value
of the real property located within thelimits of the territory herein-
after described have filed with the City Council of the City of r'ayette-
ville , Arkansas , their petition -praying that said City Council take
all necessary steps to form an ' Improvement yistrict embracing the terri
tory .therein described for the purpose of grading , rollitg and paving a
portion of South School Avenue , as therein set forth ; and
WHEREAS ;
After due notice as required by law , the City Council of the
City of Fayettevill e , ' Arkansas, , has heard all parties desiring to be
heard , and has ascertained .and determined that said petition is signedby
the owners of more than Fifty- seven per cent in assessed valuation
of the real property within the territory set forth and described in
said petition . In determining such majority the said City Council has
been guided by the certificate of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Vashirgton County , Arkansas , as to the ownership of said real property ,
and by the -certificate of the County Clerk of. said C_ ount_ y as to the_
.. .assessed valuation thereof;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CCU NC IL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS ;
SECTION ONE: -
That there is hereby established an improvement District emtira-
cirg the following described real property , to- wit :

nue from the South line of Prarie Avenue to the intersection of School

Said District shall • be known as Pavi g Improvement District Num-
ber Forty- five ( 45 ) of ' the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and
are hereby named Commissioners who shall compose the Board of improvement _
for said District .
SECTION . TWO ; This ordinance shall take effect . and be in force from and
