The words " Journeyman Electrician " shall be con - strued and held to mean any person engaged in doing the actual physical !1rork of installing electrical wiring feia ansi6itar- and may include a Caster Electrician , who has secured a Journeyman ' s license , but shall not in - clude apprentices or helpers . Section 2 . Immediately after the passage of this Ordinance , the Yayor of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , shall annoint for a term of t17o years a Board for the examination of Electricians rrhaas . Said Boar shall consist of three members , the electrical Inspector . Z�e one member . Section 3 . It shall be the duty of said Board to meet within ten days^for the pu oserof organizing and adopting the necessary rules for conducting the examination of Applicants * Said Board shall appoint one of their members as Secretary , who shall keep a record of all ap- plicartts . and of the general proceedings of the Board , and shall issue certificates for ,.license to those who successfully pass the examination ' fee// of $1 . 00 ,•� be charged C the examination . examination . Section 4 . Qualifications for the license will be three years practical experience at actual electric wiring work , and a thorough knowledge of the Regulations of the National Board of Fire Underwriters ' Electrical Code . Applicants will be required to show their skill by doing some actual tool 1vork .as part of ( ;zzexamination . Any person , firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this• ordinance , shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor , and , upon conviction , shall be fined in any sum not as more than and each day of said violation shall be deemed a separate offence . Section 12 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage , approval //and publication .
