AN ORDINANCE LEVYING THE ASSESSMENT OF BENEFITS AGAINST THE REAL
PROPERTY IN PAVING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0 . 42 IN THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE2 WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARK .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ,
WASHINGTON COUNTY , ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , the majority in value of the property holders
owning property adjacent to the locality to be affected and
situated in Paving Improvement District No . 42 of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , organized for the purpose of paving South
School Avenue in said city , have petitioned the council of the
City of Fayetteville for the construction of said improvement
and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property
of said district according to the benefits received , and
WHEREAS , said benefits received by each and every
block , lot and parcel of real property a ituated in said district
equals or esceea* the local assessment thereon , and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said improvement is
Ten Thousand Dollars ( $10 , 000 . 00 ) .
THEREFORE , It is now ordaLned by the city council of
the City of Fayetteville aforesaid.
SECTION 1 : That said several blooks , logs and parcels
of real property in said districla-,be assessed according to the
assessment list for said improvement district as the same
now remains in the office of the city clerk of said city and
that ten per centum of the assessment on each of said blocks ,
lots and_ pazgels of real property shall be pgid annually on the
first day of September in each year until the whole of said local
assessment shall be paid .
SECTION 2 : That this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage, andi:approvalfand publication .
