THE USE OF CUT-CUTS ON AUTOMOBILES
AND OTHER VEHICLES
BE IT ORDAINED BY fHE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF FAY-

SECTIO11 1 ,_ That hereafter it shall be unlawful to oper-
ate upon the streets of eayetteville , Arkansas any automobile ,
truck , motorcycle , or other gasoline propelled vehicle without
a completely muffled engine exhaust .
SECTION J , That hereafter the use of so- called " 72" mufflers
on automobiles , trucks ,. motorcycles and other gasoline propelled
vehicles shall be unlawful within the City of eay W eville , Ark-
ansas when the driver of said vehicle permits the engine exhaust
to pass thru said " 72" muffler unmuffled in an attempt to circum-
vent the application of other sections of this ordinance pertain-
ing to the use of cut - outs on gasoline propelled vehicles .

S^CTIOTI S., That hereafter it shall be unlawful to use /ex-
pipe or
tended exhaust/pipes from the motor of a gasoline propelled ve-
hicle unless said exhaust pipe passes thru and is connected with
to be
a proper functioning muffler/ in an as mechanically perfect , condition
as possible .
SECTION l That any person , firm , partnership or corporation
violating any of the provisions of this amendment to Ordinance No , 3 (0 /
shall be fined as provided in Ordinance No .36 / .
SEUTiON J . That this amendment to Ordinance 11o . 361 shall
take effect from and after it passage , approval and publication .
