Whereas , - the majority in value of the property holders o^inirig
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Curb = '
and Gutter District Number Thirty- Eight of the . city of Fayettevil• l.e ,•
Washington County Arkansas organized for the purpose of grading , rolliQ9
and constructing curb and gutter within the following streets or pests
of streets towit : North Walnut Avenue from the north line ' of Eabt I,iaple
street to. the north line of Johnson street : North Olive Avenue- =from
the north line of Gunter street to the south line of Johnson street :
Johnson street from the east line of Forth Walnut Avenue to the Brest
line of North Ili. ssion Avenue and Gunter street from the east line of
I�. orth '.rlalnut Avenue to the west line of North .Mission Avenue , have
petitioned the council of the city of Fayetteville for the construction
of the said improvement , and that the cost ):thereof shall be assessed
upon the rveal _ prop-erty of said District according to penefits received ;

_ Whereas ; said benefits received by each and every block , ihot and
parcel of real property situated in said district equals or exceeds
the local assessment thereon ; and ,
;7hereas , the estiirated costs of said improvement is " 12 , 750 . 00 .
Therefore it is now ordained by the city council of the city of
Fayetteville , Washington County Arkansasthat said several blocks , lots
and parcels of real property in said District be assessed according to
the assessment .list for said Improvement District as - the same now'
remains in the office of the city clerk and that sir and 'Fero - thirds per
centum of the assessment on each of said blocks , ��l,1� ts and parcels of ;
real property shall be paid annually on the 15 day of a
until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid .
