AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF CERTAIN TERRITORY WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS] INTO AN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR THE
PURPOSE OF IMPROVING BY GRAI% NG ROLLING AND CONSTRUCTING CURB AND
GUTTER WITHIN CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF THE DISTRICT ,
DEFININE THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF AND NAMING THE SAME .
WHEREAS , at a meeting of the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , held on the 3 0 day of April in the year , 1928 ,
a petition signed by ten or more owners of real property within the
district hereinafter described in Section One of this Ordinance was
presented to said City Council praying that it take steps toward the
making of an improvement consisting of grading , rolling and construct-
ing curb and 'gutter within the following streets or part 's of streets
as may be more fully determined by the Board of Improvement of said
improvement District , to-;pit :
North Walnut Avenue from the North line of East Maple Street
to the North line of Johnson Street , North Olive Avenue from the North
line of Gunter Street to the South line of Johnson Street ; Johnson
Street from the East line of North Walnut Avenue to the West line of
North Mission Avenue and Gunter Street from the East line of North
'.lalnut Avenue to the ti'lest line of North Mission Avenue .
WHEREAS , in said petition it was futthhr prayed that the
Council lay off a stipulated portion of real estate into an improve -
ment district for making said improvements ,
NO'rl, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Sbation One . That the following Lots , Blocks , Streets ,
Alleys and parcels of real estate in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
be , and the same are hereby laid off and declared to be an improvement
District within the said City, to-wit :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Block Sixteen ( 16 ) , Gunter
Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and running thence West
along the North line of East Maple Street to a point on the North line
Y of said East Maple Street which is 195 feet West of the hest line -of

streets or parts of Streets , to -wit : North VIAlnut Avenue from the Nort#
line of East Maple Street to the North line of Johnson Street ; North
Olive Avenue from the North line of Gunter Street to the South line of
Johnson street ; Johnson Street from the East line of North Walnut
Avenue to the Ilest line of North Mission Avenue and Gunter Street
from the Last line of North kIalnut Avenue to the Vest line of North
Mission °=venue , as may be more fully determined hereafter by the Board
of Improvement of said improvement district .
Section Vbur . That this Ordinance be in full force and
e9fect from End after its passage , approval and publication and all
ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be , and the
same are hereby repealed .
