AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TIE ASSESSIIENT IN PAVING IIE ROS TIENT
DISTRICT NT=R 36 OF THE CITY OF FAYETTSVILLE ,ARKANSAS .
vraTEAS a majority in value of the property owners owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Paving
Improvement District Number 36 of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
organized for the purpose of grading , rolling and paving , have petitioned
the City Council of the City of Fayetteville for the making of said im-
provement , and that the cost thereof shall be assessed against the real
property of said District according to the benefits received ; and
VMREAS said benefits received by each and every block , lot
and parcel of real property situated in said District equals or exceeds
the local assessment thereon ; and
W SMAS the estimated cost of said improvement is 034 , 000 :
NOW9 ThEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COU11CIL OF THE
CITY OF FAIETIEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That said several blocks , lots and parcels
of real property within said District be assessed according to said
assessment list of said District as the same now remains in the of -
fice of the City Clerk ; and ten per centum ( 10% ) of the assessment
upon each of said blocks , lots and parcels of real property shall be
paid annually on or before the first day of August , beginning August 12
1928 , until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid .
Section 2 . That this ordinance be in full force and effect
from and after its passage , approval and publication and that all or -
dinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed . p
