AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , " AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE ASSESSMENT
UPON THE REAL PROPERTY LOCATEI� XITHIN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER THIRTY-
ONE ( 31 ) 6F THE City OF FAYETfEVILLK , ARKAN3a13 . "
WHEREAS , theAmajor. ity in value of the property holders owning
property adjoining the locality t.o _be- affected , And - situated in Improve -
went District Number Thirty- one ( 31 ) of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
organized for the purpose of gradinr� , rolling and paving the str -ets and
parts of streets within Improvement District Number Thirty- one ( 31 ) of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , have petitioned the City Council of the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansas , for tine construction of said improvement and that .
the costs thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said District
according to the benefits to be received ; and
WHEREAS , said benefit received by each block , lot and parcel of real
property situated in said District , equals or exceeds the local assessment ;
and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said improvement is $23 , 863 . 00 ;
NUVI . THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PHE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , AR�+NSAS : t
SECTION ONE : That said several blocks , lots and parcels of real
prpperty in said District , be assessed according to the assessment list
forsaid Improvement District , as the same now remains in the Offiice of the
Recorder or City Clerk ; and that 10 per centum on said blocks , lots and
parcels shall be paid annually on or before the first Monday of November ,
until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid. .
SECTION TWO : That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in con-

y flict herrwith , be , and the sane are hereby , repealed , and this Ordinance
shall take effect and bein force from and after its passage , approval and
* publication .
