AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT THE SELLING OR OFFERING FOR SALE FROM ANY PARKED VEHICLE, ANY FRUIT, MELONS OR OTHER PRODUCE UPON CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS " . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAY- r ETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS : SECTION ONE : That hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person - or` persons to sell or offer for sale from any parked •vehiele , R upon any paved street within One Block of the Public SRuare , or within One Block of the Court House , or within One Block of the intersection of Dickson Street and West Avenue , any fruit , melons or other produce . SECTION TWO : ' That the�term. !Parked Vehicle " as used in this Ordinance t is intended to mean and ''1does , meanrany vehicle , horse drawn or motor J drivenyhich is brought to a . eomplete stop and remains stationary` for more than ten ( 10 ) minutes . _ - SECTION THREE : - That nothing contained in this ordingnce shall be-so . ,fi .. construed as to prohibit any person or persons from selling or offering for sale any fruit , melons or other produce from house to house, or from store to store . . SECTION FOUR : That the City Wagon Yard is , and shall remain, open at all times for the use of persons desiring to sell fruit , melons or other produce from parked vehicles . SECTION FIVE : That any person or persons .violating any of the provi- • sions of this ordinance shall be deemedyuilty of a mi'tdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not less than Two F- ( 2 ) Dollars , Iinor more than Ten ( 10 ) Dollars for each offense . SECTION SIX : That this ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage , approval and publication and that aal ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewitL be , and the same r are hereby, repealed .
