CITY OF FAYEPTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , AND TO BE KNOWN AS . ANNEX NUMBER oNE TO
SOM COLLEGE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS ..lt
VMREAS , the majority in value of the owners of real property
on and adjoining South College Avenue , from the South line of East Rock
Street , to the South line of Jennings Addition to the City of Fayette-
ville , Arkansas ,have petitioned the City Council of the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas , to annex the same to South College Avenue Improvement
District Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and due notice
has been given of the filing of said Petition ; and that the same would
be heard on the f11. . day of�pri1 , 1926 ;

WHEREAS , ons aid g.j. . day of April , 1926 , after hearing all persons
who desired to be heard , as to whether said Petition contained the sig-
natures of such majority , the City Council of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , did ascertain and declare that said Petition did contain the
signatures of a majority of the owners-- f said real property within said
~� territory , according to the last preceding assessment for State and County
taxes , ins aid territory , and as shown by the records of deeds. and by actual
ownership ; and thatsaid Petition is in due form , and as required by law $
NOW , THEREFORETBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : - That the hereinbefore described real property , South
College Avenue , from the South line of East Rock Street , to the South line
of Jennings Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and all prop-
erty described in said Petition and said Notice ,be , and the same is hereby ,
annexed to said South College Avenue Improvement Diajcrict Number One of
the City of Fayetteville ,Arkansas , to be known as Annex Number One to
South Collgge Avenue Improvement District Number One of the City of

SECTION TVJO : - That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in

conflict herwith be , and the same are Itereby , repealed , and this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage , approval
and publication .
