AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , " ,AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
USE OF HAND OR ELECTRIC SIRENS . "
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTE-
VILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONES- That hereafter it shall be Anlawful for any
person , firm or corporation to make use of any hand or electric siren
on any vehicle upon the streets of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Provided , this shall not apply to any vehicle used by the Fire Department
of the City of Payetteville , Arkansas . And provided further , that privatre
and public ambulances shall be equipped with electric or foot gongs .
SECTION TPJO ; - Any person , firm or corporation violating any of tis
the provisions pf this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction therefor shall be fined in any sum not to exeeed
Fifteen ($15 . 00 ) Dollars .
SECTION THREE ; - That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herwith be and the same are hereby repealed , and this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force thirty days afters its passage , approval
qnd publication .
