AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE
ASSESSMENT UPON THE REAL PROPERTY WITHIN ANNEX NUMBER ONT TO
NORTH COLLEGE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS . '
WHEREAS ,
the majority of property holders owning real property
adjoining the locality to be affected , and situated in Annex
Number One to North College Avenue Improvement District Number
One of - the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , organized for the
purpose of grading ,_ryollirig_ and. paving with- concrete .pavement _ --
'East Spring Street from the East line of Nortli College Avenue
to the East line of Willow Avenue:, in the City of Fayetteville , .
Arkansas , have petitioned the City Council of the City- of Fay-
etteville , Arkansas for the construction of said improvement ,
and that the cost thereof be assessed and charged against the
real property within said District ; according to the benefits
to be received , and
WHEREAS ,
the benefits received by each lot , block or parcel of
land situated within said District equals or exceeds the local
assessment , and
WHEREAS , '
the estimated cost of said improvement is $8 , 014 , 43 ;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : -
That said several Lots , Blocks or# parcels of land
within Annex number One to North College Avenue Improvement
District Number One of the City of Fayettevill"p . Arkansas be as -
ses�sedaccording to the assessment list for said•. District as the
. same now remains in the office of the Recorder or City Clerk of
said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and that ten per centum ( or
such part -thereof as shall be sufficient to pay such debts or
obligations of said District as shall mature each year ,together
with the accrued interest thereon) on ' said Lots , Blocks or
parcels of r property, s,�Ya11,ebe paid annually on or before
the first Mon ayin_each year , .beginning with the - year 1926 ,
until the who e of the indebtedness of said District shall have
been paid ,
Section Two ;
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be , and the same are hereby , repealed , and this
ordinance .shall be in force and take effect from and after its
passage , approval and publication .
