AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , " AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING
THE SU14 OF THRF;F THOUSAND DOLLARS IN CASH FOR THE PURP&SE OF PAVING
THE INTERSECTIONS OF STREETS WITHIN SOUTH COLLEGE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NU?RBER ONE OF t18HF. CITY' OF €AYETTEVILLE . ARKANSAS " .
WHEREAS , on the 23d day of Nov6mber , 1925 , the City Council of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , by an Ordiriance , Niugber 586 , duly
passed . ppproved and published , appropriated the stun of Four Thousand
Dollars in City Warrantt , to faljdue and payable as set forth is said
Ordinance , for the purpose of paying for the paving of -intersections of
the Streets within South College Avenue Improvement District Number
,one of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ;
WHEREAS , said Warrants have never been issued , and s aid Ordinance
appropriating the same has been duly repealed on this date ,*
W.HF.RFAS , it would have been necessary to discount said Warrants
in the nun of One •Thousand Dollars , on account of their due dates ;
WHEREAS , there is now to the credit of the City , of Fayetteville
Funding Ace6unt sufficient money to make an appropriation of Three
Thmusand Dollars in cash for the above mentiorred improvement , and said
City of Fayetteville , prior to October , 1924 , pledged itself to make said
appropriation to pave said intersections ,
NMO THEREFORE , BF. IT ORDAINED BY THE , CITY COUNCIL .OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVIL7LE, ARIUNSAS :
SECTION ONE : - That , in lieu. of the Warran.0 mentioned in
Ordinance Number 586 , passed and approvedon the 230 day of November ,
1925 , there is hereby approprdated , out of the City of Fayetteville
Funding Aceduint in the FiastNatinnal Bank of the -City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , the sum of Three Thousand Dollars in cash, for the purpose of
- - paying for the paving of . the • inter,.sect onsr,..of streets in South, College
Avenue Improvement District Number One of the Citi* of Fayetteville ,

SECTION TNO : - That N . F. Drake , Alderman of the Second Vlard of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and Chairman of the Finance Committee of
the City Council of said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be , and he is
hereby , authorized and directed to issue a Check for the sum of Three
Thousand Dollars , on the City of Fayetteville Funding Acc6unt in the
First National Bank of the City of Fayetteville . Arkansas , in favor of
South College Avenue Improvement District Number, One of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , or . whomsoever the Board of Improvement of said
District may direct .
SECTION THREE : - This Ordinanace shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage , aproval and publication .
Passed and approved this 25th day of January , 1926 .
