SECTidN One . That sections 28 and 29 og Ordinancm . , No . 226 passed and
approved on the 24th day of Febriary, 1908 which provides for an iron
double vent trapiwith fresh air inlet to be placed on all house drains ,
be modified so that the said double trap and fresh air inlet shall only
be used for t,-ie most effective working of the plumbing system . In doubtful
cases the Pi4xnbing Inspector will decide whether or not they may be used .
SECTION T" O . That the following clause in OF.CTION 31 of Oddl4 ince No . 226
passed and approved on . thd 24th day of February 1908 , be rspealed ; -
"No connections to lead branches for water closets or slop sinks will be
permitted , except the required branch vent . "
SECTION THREE ; That the following clause in `Section 33 of Ordinance No .
226 passed and approved on the 24th day og February 1908 ; - "All traps mus ',
be protected from syphonage and back pressure and the drainage syst � i
ventilated by special lines of vent pipes , " shall not apply to drum tr• a a .
SEOTI0l1 FOUR : This Ordiaancgt shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage , approval and publication .
