AN OR ' INANCE TO BE ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO NORTH COLLEGE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , TO BE KNOWN AS 'ANNEX NUMBER ONE TO NORTH COLLEGE
AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE3

WHEREAS ,
The majority in value of the owners of real property' on East
Spring Street from the East line of North _ College Avenue to the tiM1'est line
a
of Willow.Avenue , as set forth in the petition, have petitioned the City
Council og the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , to annex the said territory.
as described . in said petition, to North College Avenue Improvement District
Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ; and. due notive has been
given of the filing of said petition; and that the same would be- considered
at a meeting of said City Council to be held on the 5th day of October , 1925;
WHEREAS ,
on the 5th day of October, 1925;the time so 8ixed • by- the said ; } '
City Council of ,the said . City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,£or the consideration
of said petition, to determine whether or, not those signing said petition
constituted a majority in value of the owners of real property in the terri-
tory sought to be so annexed,and, after hearing all persons who desired to be
heard as to whether said petition was so signed by such majority, the said
City council of the said City of Fayetteville , did ascertain and declare that
said petition did contain the signatures of the majority of the owners of
real property within said territory, according to the last preceeding assess-
ment for State and County Taxes in said territory as shown by. the records of
said assessment as the same now remains in the office of the County Clerk of
Washington County, Arksiisas , •and as shown by the record of deeds and by actual •
ownership; and that said petition is .in due form, and as required by lawl -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAY=
ETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS ; MICROFILM®

That the hereinbefore mentioned real peoperty on East Spring

Avenue , as set forth in said petition, be , and the same is hereby, annexed to

Arkansas ,
SECTION TWO :
That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
be , and the same are, hereby, repealed, and this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
