VMELRT.AS , at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas held on the 10th day of August, 1925 , a petition signed by more
than ten owners of real property within the district hereinafter described
in Sec . 1 of this Ordinance , was presented to said Countil , askinE that it
take all necessary steps , passall necessary Ordinances , Resolutions , or
Orders to lay off the whole of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas into and
to form an improvement district for the purpose of purchasing sufficient
real estate and personal property, and doing all things necessary to pro-
perly construct, operate , and maintain a modern and a sanitary City Park
and public Camp Ground, which shall be equipped with a first lass modern
and sanitary swimming pool or natatorium and such other buildings or modes
of pleasure as may from time to time be deemed wise ;
WHER..AS , in said petition it was further prayed that the Council lay
off the whole of the said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas into an improve-
ment district for making said improvement :

1 . That all of the lots , blocks , streets , alleys , and parcels of real
estate within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas us ,
and the same are hereby laid off and declared to be an improvement district-
the description of the boundaries of said Jistrict being as follows , to-frit :
Beginning at the southwest corner of Section 16, Township 16 north, Range
30 west of the 5th principal meridian, and running thence east along the
section line to the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of Sec . 15
said Tvtwnship 16 north, range 30 west ; thence north to the northeast corner
of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Sec . 10, Township 15
north, flange 30 west; thence west to the northwest corner of the southeast
quarter of the southwest quarter of Sec . 10, Township 16 north, range 30
west ; thence north to the northeLst corner of the northwest quarter of the
southwest quarter of Sec . 10, Township 16 north, range 30 west ; thence vrest
to the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter
of Sec . 9 , Township 16 north , Rance 30 west ; thence south to the northwest
corner of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of section 9.

2 . That the said District shall hereafter be known and designated
as City Park Improvement District No . 1 of the
Arkanses . pity of Fayetteville ,
39 That said District is laid off for the purpose of purchasing
sufficient resl estate and personLi property, and doing all thinrs
necessary to property construct, operate , and maintain a modern, Pnd sani -
tary City Park and Public Camp Ground, which shall be equipped vrith a
first class , modern and sanitary swiaming pool or natatorium and such
other buildings or modes of pleasure , entertainment and convenience as
may from time to time be deemed wise .
4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage , approval , and publication , and all ordinances and
parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be , and the same are hereby
repealed.
