AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , "AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE ASSESSMENT
UPON THE REAL PROPERTY WITHIN WEST MOUNTAIN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS " .
WHEREAS , thX majority in value of the property holders owning property
adjoining the locality to be affected , and situated in West Mountain Street
Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
organized fair' the purpose of grading , rolling and paving with Asphaltic
Pavement , the streets and parts of streets within said west Mountain Street
"Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
have petitioned the City Council . of the said City of Fayetteville, Arkansas ,
far the construction of daid improvement , and that the cost thereof shall
be charged and assessed against the real property within said District ,
according to the benefits to be received ; and
WHEREAS , said benefit received by each lot or block or parcel of real
property situated within said District , equals or exceeds the 7,6cal
assessment ; and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said improvement is �/yy IQY. ...�:. . . . . . . ;
NOVI , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : That said several lots , blocks and parcels of real prop-
erty within said District , be assessed according to the assessment list
for said Improvement District , as the same now remains in the Office of
the Recorder or City Clerk ; and that ten percentum on said lots , blocks
and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the first Monday of
�i� until the whole of the said local assessment shall be paid .
SECTION TWO : That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be , and the same are hereby, repealed , and this Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage , approval and
publication ;
