An Ordinance laying off certain territory within the
corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas into
an improvement district for the purpose of improving South
College Avenue from the South line of Rock Street to the South
line of Sections 15 and 16 , Township 16 North., Range 30 West ;
Huntsville Road from a point where the same intersects South
College Avenue at the Southwest corner of Block 3 , Boles Addi -
tion to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and the 'North-
west corner of Block 1 , Combs Addition to the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas ; East on Huntsville Road to the Northeast corp
ner of Block 11 Combs Addition to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ; thence in a Northeasterly direction along the Hunts -
ville Road to a point where the Huntsville Road intersects X6.11
Avenue ; thence in a Southeasterly direction along the Hunts -
ville Road to the West line of the alley in Norwood ' s Second
Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , which lies
bdtween Lots Seven ( 7 ) and Eight ( 8 ) , Block Two ( 2 ) , said Norwood ' s
Second Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , desig-
nating the number of the district , defining the boundaries thereof ,
and namdng the same .
WHEREAS , at a meeting of the City Council of the City
f Fayetteville , Arkansas , held on the 12th day of January ,

1925 , signed by k� owners of real property within the district
hereinafter described in Section One of this Ordinance , was
presented to said Council asking that it take steps toward

the making of an improvement consisting of grading , rolling
and paving with asphaltic pavement the following streets and
parts of streets as may be more fully determined by the Board
of Improvement of said district , to-wit :
South College Avenue from the South line of Rock Street .
to the South line of Sections 15 and 16 , 'township 16 North ,
Range 30 blest ; Huntsville Road from a point where the same iter -
sects South College Avenue at the Southwest corner of Block 3 ,
Boles Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and the
Northwest corner of Block 10 Combs Addition to the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas ; East on Huntsville Road to the North-
east corner of Block 1 , Combs Addition to the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas ; thence in a Northeasterly direction along
the Huntsville Road to a point where the Huntsville Road inter -
sects Mill Avenue ; thence in a Southeasterly direction along
the Huntsville Road to the West line of the alley which lies
between Lots Seven (7 ) and Eight ( 8 ) , Block Two ( 2 ) Norwood ' s
Second Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
WHEREAS , in said petition it was further prayed that
the Council lay off a stipulated portion of real estate in the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . into an improvement district
for making said improvements ,
N0%9 , THEREFORE , be it ordained by the City Council of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas :
SECTION ONE • That the following lots , blocks , streets ,
alleys and parcels of real estate in the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , be , and the same are hereby ULM off and declared to
be an improvement district within said City, to -wit :
South College Avenue from the South line of Rock Street
to the South line of Sections 35 and 162 Township 16 Ngrth, Range
30 West ; Huntsville Road from a point where the same intersects
South College Avenue at the Southwest corner of Block 30 Boles
Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and the Northwest
corner of Block 1 , Combs Addition to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ; East on Huntsville Road to the Northeast corner of
Block 1 , Combs Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ;
&hence in a Northeasterly direction along the Huntsville Road
to a point where the Huntsville Road intersects Mill Avenue ;
thence in a Southeasterly direction along the Huntsville Road
to the West line of the alley which lies between Lots 7 and 8 ,
Block 2 , Norwood ' s Second Addition to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas .

pose of grading , rolling and paving with asphaltic argariw
pavement ; the said streets and parts of street`s as may be
more fully determined hereafter by the Board of Improvement
of said Improvement District ,
SECTION FOUR : That this Ordinance be in force and effect
from and after its passage , approvgl and publication , and_ _
all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be , and the same are hereby repealed .
