AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF CERTAIN TERRITORY WITHIN Tile CORPORATE
LrMITS OF TH$ CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKAIISAS , INTO AN I1,1PR0GEMENT
DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF 114PI4OVING TEST MOU14TAIN STREET , FROM THE
.'EST LINE OF SOUTH BLOCK AVENUE TO THE EAST LINE OF SOUTH SCHOOL AVEINE .
WHEREAS , at a meeting of the City Council o£f the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas , held on the / 74vday of / - � 1924 , a Petition
signed by ten owners of real property within the District hereinafter
described in Section One of this Ordinance , was presented to said
Council , asking that it take steps toward the making of an improvement ,
consisting of grading , rolling and paving with Asphaltic Pavement the
following Streets and parts of Streets , as may be more fully determined
by the Board of Improvement of said District , to wit :
West Mounta&. Streety from the West. line 6f South Block Avenue
to the East line of South School Avenue .
4'iBEREAS , in said Petition it was further prayed that the Council
lay off a stipulated portion of real estate into an Improvement Dis -
tr: ct , for ±±king said improvement ;
NODI, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OOUNCL L OF THE CITY OF
FA`4TTEVILLE , ARKANSAS .
SECTION ONE : That the following Lots , Blocks , Streets , 'Alleys and
Parcels of Real Estate in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be , and the
same are hereby laid off and declared to be an Improvement District within
the said City , to -wit :

Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot Five ( 5 ) , Block Twenty- six
( 26 ) , Original Plat of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and running thence West
to the Northwest corner of said Lot Five ( 5') , in said Block Twenty- six
( 26 ) ; thence in a Northwesterly direction across the alley to the Ncrt-h-
east corner of Lot Eight ( 8 ) , Block Twenty- six ( 26 ) , original Plat of
Fayetteville , Arkansas ; thence West to the Northwest corner of Lot Seven
( 7 ) , Block Twenty- five ( 25 ) , Original Plat of Fayetteville , Arkansas ;
thence West to a point on the West line of South Locust Avenue which is
102 . 5 feet North of the- North line of West Mountain Street ; thence West

SECTION TWO : That the said District shall hereafter be knottrn and
designated as 'Vest Mountain Street Improvement District Number One of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
SECTION THREE : That said District is laid off for the purpose of
grading , rolling and paving with Asphaltic Pavement , the said Streets and

parts of Streets , as may be more fully determined hereafter by the Board
of Improvement of said Improvement District .
SECTION FOUR : That this Ordinance be in force and effect from and
after its passage , approval and publication ; and all Ordinances and
parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith , be , andthe same are hereby
repealed .
