AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , "AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE ASSESSMENT
UPON THE REAL PROPERTY WITHIN WEST MEADOW STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF FAYET.TEVILLE , ARKANSAS . "
WHEREAS .' the majority in vaBue of the property holders owning property
adjoining the locality to be affected , and situated in West Meadow Street
Improvement Distri,at Number One .Qf the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas,
organized for the purpose of grading, rolling and paving with Asphaltic
Pavement , the streets and parte of streets within said West Meadow Street
Improvement District Number One of the City of Favetteville , Arkansas,
have petitioned the , City Council o'frthe said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
for the construction of said improvement , and that the cost thereof shall
be charged and assessed against the real property within said District ,
acceding to the benefits to be received ; and
WHEREAS , said benefit received by each lot or block or parcel of real
property situated within said District , equals or exceeds the local
assessment ; and

'--- NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Or THE' CITY- OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE: That said several lots , blocks and parcels of real prop-
erty within said District , be assessed according to the assessment list
for said Improvement District , as the same now remains in the Office of
the Recorder or City Clerk ; and that ten percentum on said lots , blocks
and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the first Monday of
idovem'be� until the whole of the said local assessment shall be paid .
SECTION TWO : That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conrlict
he be , and the same are hereby , repealed , and this Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage , approval and
publication:
