AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE ASSESSIviENT IN ANNEX
NUMBER ONE TO UNIVERSITY IMPROVMEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , the majority It Value of the property holders owning property
adjoining the locality to . be affected and situated in Annex Number One to
University Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , organized for the purpose of grading, rolling and paving with
materials other than brick, having petitioned the City Council of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , for the construction of said improvement
and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of
said District according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS , said benefits received by each and every Alock, Lot and Parcel
of real property situated in said District equals or exceeds the local
assessment thereon , and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said improvement is Ten Thousand Dol-
lars ( $10, 000 . 00 ) ;
THEREFORE , IT IS ORDAINED BY _ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTE-
VILLE, ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : That said several Blocks , Lots and Parcels of real
property in said District be assessed according to the assessment list of
said improvement District as the same now remains in the Office of the
City Clerk and that ten percentum ( 10% ) of each of said Blocks ,' Lots and
Parcels shall be paid annually on or before the 15th day of November
until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid .
SECTION TWO : That this Ordinance be in full force and effect from
and after its passage , approval and publication and all Ordinances and
parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be , and the same are , hereby
repealed . �� re
