MtVMNT IMPROVMENT OF THE INTERSECTIONS OF CERTADN, STREETS WITHIN THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , AND FOR OT9ER PURPOSES . "
WHEREAS , there fac b'eien formed and created within the corporate
limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , a certain Improvement
District , known as University Improvement district Kimber One of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ;
WHEREAS , it is the policy of the City of Fayetteville , to . aid 1n. con-
struPting and maintaining permanent streets, constructed under the
improvement district plan; and
WHEREAS , the Uity of !Fayetteville has assumed part of the expense of,
improving streets in other improvement districts ;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS ;
SECTION ONE: That there is hereby appropriated out of the ueneral
Rind of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , the sum of Seven Thousand
Five Hundred ( $7 , 500 . 00 ) Dollars, to be used by the Board of Uommis.,sion-
ers of University Improvement District ALmber One of the Uity of Fay.
etteville , Arkansas , in permanently paving the intersections of all streets
within •said Improvement District ; and otherwise permanently improving
the same .
SECTION TWO ; That the City Clerk of the C�7ti y n
of Fayetteville , Arka -
sas , be , and he is hereby , instructed to draw warrants of equal
amounts , in favor of whomever said Board of Commissioners shall designate ,
and at such times as said Board may request , not to exceed in the aggregate , ,
however , the cum of Seven Thousand Five Hundred ( $7 , 500 . 00 ) Dollars . Said
,=Wb warrants shall be drawn aerially , so that one warrant shall become
due and payable each year after date of issue .
SECTION THREE; That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage , approval and publication.
Passed and approved this 5th day of May , 1924 .
