AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF CERTAIN TERRITORY WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , INTO AN IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING WAIS, STREET FROM THE WEST LINE
OF GOVERNMENT AVENUE TO THE EAST LINE OF SOUTH DUNCAN AVENUE , DESIG-
NATING THE NUMBER OF THE DISTRICT , DEFINING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF ,
AND NAMING THE SAM&
WHEREAS , at a meeting o3 the City Council of the City o3 Fayettatille ,
Arkansas , held on the 21st day of April , 19249 a Petition signed by
ten owners of real property within the District hereinafter described
in Section One of this Ordinance , was presented to said Council , asking
that it take steps toward the making of an improvement , consisting of
grading , rolling and paving with Asphaltic or Concrete Pavement the
following Streets and parts of Streets , as may be more fully determined
by the Board of Improvement of said District , to -wit :
Wall Street from the West line of Government Avenue to the East
line of South Duncan Avenue .
WHEREAS , in said Petition it was further prayed that the Council
lay off a stipulated portion of real estate into an Improvement District ,
for making said improvement ;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : l
SECTION ONE : That the following Lots , Blocks , Streets , Alleys and
Parcels of Real Estate in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be , and the
same are hereby laid off and declared to be an improvement District within
the said City , to -wit :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot Ten ( 10 ) , County Court
Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter , Section
Sixteen ( 16 ) , Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North , Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , and
running thence West to the West line of South Hill A.V.ennd; ; thence
North to the Northeast oelrner of Lot Fourteen ( 14 ) , County Court
Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter , Section
Sixteen ( 16 ) , Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North , Range Thirty ( 30 ) West ;

thence in a Southwesterly direction alongthe North line of Lots
Fourteen .( 14 ) , Fourteen A ( 14a ) , Fourteen B ( 14b ) , and Fourteen C ( 140 ) ,
to the intersection of the North line of Lot Fourteen C ( 14c ) of said
County Court S#bdivision with the North line of Wall Street ; thence in
a Southeasterly direction , across Wall - Street , to the Northwest 2orner
of Lot Seventeen ( 17 ) , County Court Subdivision : of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter , Section Sixteen ( 16 ) , Township
Sixteen ( 16 ) North , Range Thirty ( 30 ) West ; thence South 196 feet ;
thence East to - the West line of South Hill AVOU40 ; thence across
South Hill cg4enueto the Southwest corner of Lot Eighteen A ( 18e ) ,
County Court Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section Sixteen ( 16 ) , Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North, Range
Thirty ( 30 ) West ; thence East , along the South line of Lots Eighteen A
( 18a ) , Eighteen B ( 18b ) , Eighteen C ( 18c ) , Eighteen D ( 18d ) , and Twenty
( 20 ) , of said County Court Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter , Section Sixteen ( 16 ) , Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North ,
Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , to the West linelof Government Avenue ; thence
North , slang the West line of Government Avenge , to the point of begin -
ning- -said description of the boundaries of the Distriot embracing the
following lots and parts o4 lots , according to the Sewer Map of the
said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as compiled by Burns & McDonnell ,
the frontage of which lots are tested by actual measurement , to=wit :
County Court Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of the South-
west Quarter of Section Sixteen ( 16 ) , Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North ,
Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , lots Eleven ( 11 ) , Eleven A ( lla ) , Twelve A
( 12a ) , Twelve B ( 12b ) , the South 190 feet of Lot Twelve ( 12 ) , the
South 190 feet of Lot Thirteen ( 13 ) , the South 190 feet of Lot
Thirteen p ( 13a , all of Lots Fourteen ( 14 ) , Fourteen A ( 14a ) ,

SECTION TWO : That the said District shall hereafter be known and
designated as Wall Street Improvement District Number One of the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
SECTION TBREB : That said District is laid off for the purpose of
grading , rolling and paving with Asphaltic or Concrete Pavement , the
said Streets and parts of Streets , as may be more fully determined
hereafter by the Board of Improvement of said Improvement District ,
SECTION FOUR : That this Ordinance be in force and effect from and
after its passage , approval and publication ; and all Ordinances and
parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith , be , and the same are hereby
repealed,
