AN ORDNANCE LAYING OFF CERTAIN TERRITORY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETT`EVILLE, ARKANSAS , INTO AN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR
THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING SOUTH COLLEGE AVENUE FROM THE NORTH LINE OF EAST
CENTER STREET TO THE NORTH LINE OF EAST ROCK STREET ; EAST ROCK STREET FROM
THE EAST LINE OF SOUTH COLLEGE AVENUE TO THE CENTER LINE OF SOUTH EAST
AVENUE AND '+7EST ROCK STREET FROM THE CENTER LINE OF SOUTH EAST AVENUE TO
THE ?'LEST LINE OF SOUTH BLOCK AVENUE ; EAST MOUNTAIN STREET FROM THE 7.7EST
LINE OF SOUTH COLLEGE AVENUE TO THE EAST ' LINE OF SOUTH EAST AVENUE ; SOUTH
EAST AVENUE FROM THE NORTH LINE OF ROCK STREET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF MOUNTAIN
STREET ; AND SOUTH BLOCK AVENUE FROM THE NORTH LINE OF CIEST ROCK STREET TO
THE SOUTH LINE OF t"JEST MOUNTAIN STREET - DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF THE
DISTRICT , DEFINING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF, AND NAMING THE SAME .
WHEREAS, at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Fayetteville ;
Arkansas , held on the 12th day of November , 1923 , a Petition signed by . ten
owners of real property within the District hereinafter described in Sec-
tion One of this Ordinance , was presented to said Council , asking that it
take steps toward the making of an improvement ; consisting of grading , roll-
ing and paving with Asphaltic Pavement the following Streets and parts of
Streets , as may be more fully determined by the Board of Improvement of
said District , to-wit :
South dollege Avenue from the North line of East Center Street to the
North line of East Rock Street ; East Rock Street from the East line of
South College Avenue to the Center line of South East Avenue and West Rock
Street from the center line of South East Avenue to the West line of South
Block Avenue ; East Mountain Street from the West line of South College
Avenue to the East line of South East Avenue ; gouth East Avenue from the
North line of Rock Street to the South line of Mountain Street ; and South
Block Avenue from the North line of West Rock Street to the South line of
West Mountain Street''v -
wHEREAS , in said Petition it was further prayed that the Council lay off
a stipulated portion of real estate into an Improvement District , for making
said improvements :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :

grading , rolling and paving , with Asphaltic Pavement , the said Streets and
parts of Streets , as may be more fully determined hereafter by the Board
of Improvement of said Improvement District .
SECTION FOUR : That this Ordinance be in force and effect from and
after its passage , approval and publication ; and all Ordinances and parts
of Or4inances in conflict herewith be , and the same are , hereby repealed .
