AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , " AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE ASSESSMENT
UPON THE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN ANNEX NUMBER ONE TO MONT NORD IM_
PROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF THE CITv OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARRIANSAW
WHEREAS , the majority in value of the property holders owning prop-
erty adjoining the locality to be affected , and situated in Annex Num-
ber One to Mont Nord Improvement District Number One of the Cite of Fay-
etteville , Arkansas , organized for the purpose of paving with Aephaltic
s1so A �e pavement , the streets and parts of streets within said Annex
Number One to Mont Nord Improvement District Number One of the Citv of
Fayetteville , Arkansas, have petitioned the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , for the construction of said improvement , and
that the costs thereof , shall be assessed upon the real property of said
district , according to the benefits to be received ; and
WHEREAS , said benefit received by each block , lot and parcel of real
property situated in said district , equals or exceeds the local assess-
ment ; and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said improvement is $ 150500 . 00 __
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT WMAINED BY THE CIV7 COUNCIL OF THE CITv OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : That said several blocks , lots and parcels of real
property in said district , be assessed according to the assessment list •
for said Improvement District , as the same now remains in the Office of j
the Recorder or City Clerk ; and that 10 per centum on said blocks ; lots
and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the first Monday of Octo -
ber , until the whole of the said local assessment sh&11 be paid .
SECTION TWO : That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith , be , and the same are hereby , repealed , and this Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force , from and after "its passage , approval and
publication .
