FjHZR^AS , It has been called to the attention of the City Council of
the City of bayetteville , ilrkansas that there are some graves in what is
now knovn as Plock Wo of the City of Fayettevk le , Hrkansas , and that
this property was used as a burial pround some sixty years aro, and;
this burial ground is no longe, ke * up or used as such and
has been abandoned as a burial ground for maza=years ;
N(Yi: , T1T7R;7 ' RE , Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas :
1. All persons having dead buried in the said abandoned burial ground
in Block 'No of the City 'ark Addition to the City of bayetteville am
reyuized to remove the same within thirty days from the date of the passage ,
approval , and publication of this Ordinance , and bury the Ea- me in some duly
established cemetery, and in the event such bodies are not removed within
the time herein specified, after this Ordinance has been published in the
mode and manner noir prescribed by law, than said City of Payette ville ,
e:rkansas may cause the remains of all such persons as can be found to be
removed and buried ashereinbefore provided, said removal to be tiAthout cost
to the City of Fayetteville , hrkansas .
2 . That all Ordinances and parts of Drdinances in conflict he r-3ti:ith
be and the same are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage , approval , and publication.
