SESSMENT UPON -THE REAL. PROPERTY'LOCATED WITHIN WILLOW AVENUE IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS . "
WHEREAS , The Board of Assessment of Willow Avenue Improvement District
Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , did , on the 4th day of
June , 1923 , in accordance with the terms and provisions of Act No . 488, of
the General Assembly of Arkansas , duly approved on the 20th day of Marotrj
1923 , deposit with the City Clerk of the City of JFayetteville , Arkansas ,
the additional assessment of Willow Avenue Improvement District Number One
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , duly subscribed by each of then ;
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , did ,
on the 4th day of June , 1923 , duly pass a Resolution, requiring the City
Clerk of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , to cause to be published in
the " Fayettoville .Democrat "; a daily paper published in the City of Fay-
etteville , Arkansas , a notice , stating that said additional assessment hqd
been so filed by said Board of Assessors , and that the same was subject to
inspection ;
WHEREAS , said City.. Clerk of said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas, diO
so cause said notlae ,,to, be so published on the 5th dayrof June , 1923 ; and
%WIEREAS , the time for filing a protest against said additional assess-
ment` has long since passed , and all parties , who cared to doso , have been
given an opportunity- *to be heard by the City Council of the said City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas :
NOW , THEREFORE ' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : That the said -severgl blocks; lots and parcels, of land
and , railroads and tram roads and rights of way in said District be assessed
according to the additional assessment list for said I&provement District ,
as the same now remains in the office of the Recorder of City Clerk , and
that 10 per centum on each of said blocks , lots and parcels of land and rail-

roads and tramroads and rights of way in said Improvement District shall be
paid annually ; on or before the 15th day of October, until the whole of the
said local assessment shall be paid , or until the obligations of said Dis-
trict have been fully satisfied and paid in full , including the bonds is .
sued by said District .
SECTION TWOT That said additional assessment shall be a charge and a
lien against all the property in said District as provided by law , and shall
be entitled to a preference , as provided . by law.
SECTION THREES That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville , Ark-
aneas , be authorized and directed to publish this ordinance as required by
law, and that the said City Clerk deliver-- to the Collector a copy of said
addi.tional assessment of benefits , containing the description of the real
property ,- and ' the amount assessed on each , and he deliver , at the same time ,
the warrant'. of the Clerk for the collection of said sum .
SECTION FOUR : That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage , approval and publication.
