Sec. 1. It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person or persons to
burn, or cause to be burned any leaves , trash, or other substances in any
gutter along any street within the City of Fayetteville , rrkansas .
Sec . 2 . It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person or persons to
bur::; or cause to be burned, any leaves, trash, or other substances in any
gutter Llong any paved street, within the City of Fayetteville , Ark .
Sec . 3 . Any person or persons violating Sec . 1 of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined in any sum not leas than One Dollar nor more than Five Dollars
for each offense . Any person or persons violating Section 2 of this
Ordinance shall likewise be deemed guilty of a misde:aeanor ' and upon con-
viction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not less than Ten Dollars nor
more than Fifty Dollars for each offense ; and shall, in addition, be
liable to the City of Fayetteville for any damaCe resulting to the pave-
ment as a result of the burning trash, leaves ,, or other substances upon
such pavement, or in the gutters alone the same .
Sec . 4i That this Ordinance be in force and effect from and after
its passage , approval , and publication, and all ordinances , or parts thereof
in conflict be and the same are hereby repoaled.
