AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF
THE ASSESSMENT OF . BENEFITS IN WILLOW AVENUE IMPROVE?iENT DISTRICT
NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the location to be affected ; and situated
in Willow Avenue Improvement District Number One of the City of
Fayetteville , organized for the purpose of grad. ing, rolling and
macadamizing streets .in said District have petitioned the council
of the City of Fayetteville , for the construction of said improvement ,
and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property
of said District , according to the benefits received ; and
WHEREAS , said benefits received by each and every lot , block
and parcel of real property , including railroads and tram roads ,
situated in said District , equals or exceeds the local assessment
,
thereon ; and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of the said improvement is
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Fayetteville , , as follows ;
SEC00N 16 That the several blocks , lots and parcels of real
property and railroads and tram roads in said District be assessed
according to the assessment list for said Improvement District , as
the same now remain in the office of the recorder or City Clerk ,
the assessment on
and v` percent of each of said Elocks , lots and parcels of
land and railroads and tram roads shall be paid annually on or before
the d-ay of , until the whole of said local
assessment shall be paid , or until the obligations of said District
have been fully satisfied and paid in full , including the bonds
issued by said District .

SECTION 2 , The said assessments shall be a charge
and a lien against all the real property in said District , as .
provided by law, and shall be entitled to a preference , as
provided by law .
SECTION 3 . That the Clerk of the City be authorized and
directed to publish this ordinence , as required by law, and
that the City Clerk deliver to the collector a copy of said
assessment of benefits , containing the description of the real
property and the amount assessed on each and shall deliver
at the same time the warrant of the Clerk :'for the collection
of said sum .
SECTION 4 . That this ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and publication .
