AN ORDINANCE=' TO BE ENTITLED , "AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE4ASSESSMENT UPON THE
REAL PROPERTYYLOCATED VJITHIN WILLOW AVENUE ' IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE
OF THE CITY " OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS "
WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property- -holders owning prop-
erty � adjoining the locality to be .. affected , and situated in Willow Avenue
Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , or=
ganited for the purposesof grading , rolling and macadamizing the streets
and• parts of streets within said Willow Avenue Improvement District Num-
berrOne , have petitioned the Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
for the construction of said Improvement , and that the cost thereof shall
'ibe assessed uponk the real property of said District , according to bene-
fits received ; and
WHEREAS , said benefits received by each Block , Lot ' and Parcel of
real property situated in said District , equals or exceeds the local
assesement ' thereon ; and
WHEREAS , the estima.tbd cost of said improvement is $353387 . 71 .
- —� NOW , THEREFORE; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ' OF-THE CITY"OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE" That said several Blocks , Lots and Parcels of real
property in said District , be assessed according to the assessment list ,
for said Improvement District , as the same � now remains in the office of
the Recorder or City Clerk ; and that 10 per centum on each of said Blocks ,
Lots and Parcels , shall be paid annually on or before the first Monday
of Ootober; until the whole of the said local assessment shall be paid .
SECTION TWO!: That all Ordinances and parts ' of ' Ordinances in conflict ,
be , and the same arechereby , repealed , and this Ordinance shall be in
force and effect , from and after its passage , anprova.l and publication .
