HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 443 r - ORDI NANCE NO AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , " AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE' 'FOR THE PER_ ?JANENT IMPROVEiAMTT `OF THE INTERSECTION OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVIILE , ARKANSAS , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES , " WHEREAS , there has . been formed - and created within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas, certain Improvement Districts , known , as East Street Improvement District Number One , and Annex Number One to last Street Improvement District Number Oneofthe City of ..Fayetteville , Ark- ansas ; and WHEREAS , it is the policy of, the City of Fayetteville to aid in,:. con- structing and maintaining permanent streets , constructed under the Improve- ment District plan ; and WHEREAS , the Commissioners of said above mentioned Improvement Districts , are in need of the sum of $3250; 00 , to finish paving the intersections of , and otherwise permanently improving the streets within the said above men- tioned districts :NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCI7, OF THE CITY OF FAYETTFV�ILLE, ARKANSAS : SECTION ONE : That there is hereby appropriated, out of the General Street Fund of the City - of Fayetteville , Arkansas , the sum of $ 3, 250 . 00 , to be used by the Board of Commissioners of East Street Improvement District Number One and Annex Number One to East Street Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , , in permanently paving the inter- . section of, and otherwise"- permanently improving all streets within said Improvement Districts . SECTION TWO : That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville , 'Arkansas , be , and he is hereby instructed to draw ten warrants of equal amounts, in favor of rlrhomsoever said Board of Commissioners may designate , and at such, time as said Board may request , not to exceed in the aggregate , the sum of $3 , 250 . 00 .
