M41CR0F11&4 1978 DATE..- � REEL��� ORDINANCE NO. 442 AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE LICENSING OF DAIRIES SELLING OFFERING FOR SALE THEIR PRODUCTS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARK." BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. : Sec. 1 . The word "Dairy" as used in this Ordinance is meant to include, and does include, each and every person, firm, or corporation selling or offering for sale within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Ark., all or any part of any milk or cream produces form more than two (2) cows. Sec. 2. From and after January 1 , 1922, the city license for each and every dairy selling or offering for sale milk or cream within the corporate limits of said city, shall be established as follows, so-wit: Dairy with 10 or more cows . . . . . $25 . 00 per annum---$ 15 .00 per 6 months Daily with less than 10 cows . . . $ 15 . 00 $ 8.00 " Al of such licenses to be paid in advance and in no case to be transferable. Sec. 3 . Any dairy selling or offering for sale milk or cream within the corporate limits of said City, without first having obtained a City license so to do. Which license shall be issued by the City Health Officer shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof in the Police Court, shall be fined in any sum not less than Ten Dollars nor more than Fifteen Dollars; and each day or part thereof that any such dairy shall sell or offer to sell any of their products in violation of this Ordinance, shall constitute a separate offense. Sec. 4. That this Ordinance be in force and effect from and after Jan. 1 , 1922 and its passage, approval, and publication, and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
