AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED , " AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY THE ASSESS3ihLT UPON TILE
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN WILLOW AVENUE ImPROVELEiiT DISTRICT NUMBER ONE
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKAITSAS . "
WHEREAS , the majority in value of the property holders owning prop.
erty adjoining the locality to •be affected , and situated in Willow Avenue
Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , or.
ganized for the purpose of grading , rolling and macadamizing the streets
and parts of streets within said Willow Avenue .Improvement District Num-
ber One , have petitioned the Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
for the construction of said improvement , and that the cost thereof shall
be assessed upon the real property of said district , according to bene.
fits received ; and
V41EREAS , said benefits received by each block , lot and parcel of
real property situated in said district , equals or exceeds the local
assessment thereon ; and

WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said improvement is
NOW , THEREFOP.E , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : That said several blocks , lots and parcels of real
property in said district , be assessed according to the assessment list ,
for said Improvement District , as the same now remains in the office of
the Recorder or City Clerk ; and that 10 per centum on each of said blocks ,
lots and parcels , shall be paid annually on or before the first idonday
.of October , until the whole of the said local assessment slIall be paid .
SECTION TWO : That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict ,
be , and the same are hereby , repealed , and this Ordinance shall be in
force and effect , from and after its passage , approval and publication .
