An Ordinance to be entitled, "An Ordinance to Amend Section 6 of Ordinance
No. 393, which was passed and approved on the 20th day of June , 1919 said
Ordinance being an Ordinance to prescribe and regia- ate license for certain
privileges in the City of Fa.yctteville , Arkansas . "
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, P:rkansas ;
SECTION OVE . That Section 6 of Ordinance 393 , passed and approved on the
20th day of June , 1919 be amended so as to read as fellows :
ScMTION 6 : Bach telegraph, telephone , electric light or power company
shall pay annually a sum equal to $1 . 00 for each pole used by them,
whether such poles are leased, rented, or otimed by them, and each telegraph,
telephone , electric light or power company is hereby required to file vrith
the Cit, Clerk of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas annually a sworn list
of the number of poles used by said company, whether the same are rented,
leased, or owned by said company, showing the location of said poles and the
manner in which same are erected. The first sivorn list required under this
Ordinance shall be filed with the City Clerk on or before July 1st, 1920
and hereafter said sworn list shall be filed with said Clerk on the first
day of July of each suceeding year. In addition to the above required
annual sworn list all telegraph, telephone , electric light or power companies
shall file :ai.th the City Clerk a w.Titten report each time an additional
post is erected within the corporate limits of the said City of Fayetteville,
giving the place where located and the manner in which the same is erected.
SECTION 'r: 0. All Ordinances and pasts of Ordinances in conflict herewith,
be and the same are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage , approval, and publication.
