Sec . 1. Tho Street Commissioner is hereby granted the right, power,
and authority to close any public thoroughfares within the corporate limits
of said City or any part thereof when in the process of repair or improve-
ment by plainly naking such thorouShfares as boing closed to traffic .
Sec . 2. Any person or persons who shall disregard such notice and
shall enter upon any such closed thoroughfare shall be deemed guilty of. a
misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not to
exceed twenty five dollars (;$25. 00 ) . Provided nothing herein contained
shall be so construed as to apply to pedestrians.
Sec . 3 . That this ordinance be in force from and after its passage ,
approval ., and publication, and all Ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed .
