BE IT ORDAITIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTSVILT,^, A_-RK . ;
Sec . 1. That hereafter it shall bs unlarful for any person, firm, or
corporation to build, construct, or maintain an arming, porch, or shed of
any kind or nature in front of any building facing on Dickson Street between
St. Charles Street and Arkansas Avenue which a::ning, porch, or shed shall
extend over any part of the sidewalk on said street. Provided, however,
that nothing herein conCai -ed shall be so construed as to prevent the con-
struction of hotel entrances extending over sidevialk when the plan of all
such entrances have been approved by the City Council by resolution duly
adopted.
Sec . 2 . That the provisions of this Ordinance shall not apply to
cloth av+nings which are supported entirely from the buildinl-s .
Sec . 3. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the pro-
visions of this Ordinance shall be deemed palty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction therefore shall be fined in a sum not less than '.10 . 00 nor more
than x25. 00 for each offense and each day of such violation shall constitlj�B
a separate offense .
Sec . 4. That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict he: ^e-
with be and the same are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage, approval, and publication.
