BE IT ORDAINED BY THS COUT?CIL OF THE CITY OF FAYF.TTEVILLE , ARHA"Ifi-S :
Sec . 1 . That the city license for all theatrical companies giving
operatic or dramatic performances within the corporate limits of the said
City shall be Ten Dollars ($'10. 00 ) for each single day durinE which any
such performance shall be given or Twenty Five Dollars (^ 25. 00 ) for six
( 6 ) consecutive days , regardless of the number of performances . Provided
that nothing herein contained shall be so construed as to apply to bona.
fide amateur performances, or performances given purely for charity or for
any performance given in a duly licensed opera house or theater.
Sec . 2. That the license provided for in Section 1 hereof shall be
collected and accounted for in the manner prescribed for the collection of
all other city licenses
Sec . 3. That this ordinance be in force from and after its passage ,
approval, and publication, and all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be . and the same, are hereby repealed .
