VIIERFAS , the sum of eighteen hundred and sixty
dollars ( $ I860 . 00 ) hes been duly approprated by the
City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkaneas , to
aid in the improvement of East Lafayette Avenue , for
which purpose Lafayette Avenue Improvement District
Number One was formed ; and
W.HF.RFAS , it has been provided by ordinance that
the ooet of such improvement shall be paid in five
( 5 ) equal installments , payable on or before the tenth
-- day of June of each year , beginning June tenth , I9I5 ,
NOW THER_YOR. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Council of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkanses :
Section One . That the Clerk of the Cit;, of Pay-
etteville , Arkansas , be And he is hereby authorized and
instructed to issue City Warrants upon any finds not
otherwise approprated to the amount of eighteen hundred
and sixty dollars ( , I860 . 00 ) , same to be issued in
fifteen ( I5 ) seperate warrants of one hundred and twenty
four dollars ( ? I24 . 00 ) each . Provided , that three ( 3 )
of said warrants shall be due and payable on the first
Monday in Julv , I9I5 ; three ( 3 ) due and payable on the
first Monday in Jnly , I9I6 ; three ( 3 ) due and payable on
the first Monday in duly , I9I7 ; three ( 3 ) due and payable
on the first Monday in Jnly . 19IS and three ( .3 ) due and
payable on the first Monday inoJuly , I9I9 . Provided , futher ,
that all of said warrants shall be made parable to the
Board of ImVrovement of Lafayette Avenue Improvement
District Number One , of the City of Fayetteville .
Section Two . That the faith and honor of the City
of Fayetteville , Arkaneas , is hereby pledged for the
redemption of the warrants mentioned in Section One of
this ordinance ,
Section Three . That this 'ordinance be in force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and pub-
lication ; and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinanoe , be and the same are hereby
revealed .
