Section 1. That any person, persons, firm, or corporation tivho shall
place any buildings, fences , or structures of any kind, posts, trees., or any
other matter or thins whatsoever upon any street, sidewalk, or other public
grounds within the said City, which is an obstruction of such street, sidewalk,
or public ground, and uhd shall fail or refuse to remove same within twanty
four (24) hours after a written notice to remove such obt:truetions has been
served upon such person or persons, firm, or corporation, which notice can ba
issued from either the . City Council or the Police Court, shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not less
than { 10. 00, ten dollars , or more than fifteen (x3151. 00 ) dollars and ' saoh day
that such obstructions are not removed after the notice aforesaid has been
duly served shall constitute a separate offense .
Section 2 . Any person, persons, or corporation tsho shall obstruct any
street, alley, or avenue within said city s,iall be punished as set forth in
Section 1 of this ordinance , whether such street, alley, or avenue has been
accepted by ordinance or exists by perscription.
Section 3. That this ordinance be in force from and after its passap
and publication and all ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same ara
hereby repealed.
