An Ordinance To .Fix The License For Street Fairs and Carnivals
in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Be It Ordained By The Council of the said City -
Sec . l . That the license for all street fairs and carnivals
, � �� .ti• `v'� exhibiting in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , shall be $50 . 00
for each twenty four hours said street fair or carnival shall
show in the said City .
Sec . 2. That the license shall be payable in advance , and
that any person or persons who shall exhibit any street fair
or carnival in the said city without first having secured license
for same shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor , and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined $ 100 . 00 for each offense , and
each twenty four hours , or part thereof any person or persons
shall exhibit any street fair or carnival in the said city with
out having first secured license for same shall constitute a
seperate offence .
Sec . 3 . That nothing in this ordiance shall be so construed
as to apply to operatic companies giving regular dramatic
performances .
Sec . 4 . That t ordinance shall be in force from and after
its passage and publication and all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hreby
repealed.
