ORDINANCE # 291 .
An Ordinance to protect persons arriving and departing on rail
road trains om annoyance from hotel and bus drummers .

the City Council of the City of Fayetteville ,

Arkansas :
Sec . l . is hereby established as follows - Beginning
. at a poiis eight feet North and one hundred and five
feet andches East of the South East corner of the
platformt . Louis & San Francisco Railroad Company ' s
depot iny to the West line of space No . l ; thence East
48 feet .
Sec . 2. s ace be alloted to each hotel or bus drummers
eight fedth , beginning at the West line of space No . l ,
and extending East . Said spaces shall be designated by numbers
froip bne to six inclusive , beginning at the West end of the stand
above designated , said allottment to be made by the Chief of
Police , of the City of Fvtteville , Arkansas .
Sec . 3 . � It shall be unla ul for any person or persons to in

hack , carriage , wagon or oth r vehicle for the transportation

Sec . 4 . Any person viokati g the provieions of this ordinance
shall upon conviction thereo be gined in any sum not more than
ten dollars for each offence
Sec . 5 . That all* ordinance s or parts or ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance be and th same are hereby repealed and that
this ordinance take effect and a in force from and after its
