Section 2. "That as such Di,_ester it shall be his duty to comr and
arrange under appropriate titles end sub—divisions all unrenaalFd L'ile
Ordinances ._nd Resolutions of.' << roneral and w;blicnature . the titles or
subjects shall be arranged in aft alphabetical onlerrnd divided into
Sections follor+in;. as near .as tarry be the+ sub-divisions as cont.,incd in the
original Ordinance or ROsolution and numbered consecutively from the be[_in.
ning of the Digest. .a the end of each Section, reference shall be made to
the date , tirJ ori.inal Ordinance or Resolution T.as approved and toaich
Section shall be prefixed syllabus, indicating the subject matter contcined
in such section .
Section 3. Such Di ,_Mst when M-1pleted shall be typenri. tten and pound
in a suitable book to be provided by the City for that purpose , the pages to
be 8 x 14 inches c,ith an index that vrill afford easy and certain reference .
to any subject contained in such ilicost.
Section 4. The Digester herein provided for shall receive as his coci-
pensation for all services horein required the suit, Of Fifty cents per sheet
of tlic size above named contained in such ili;_rst when completed .
Section 5. The _ oli ,e Judge of the City of irzYcttevillo is hereby

as herein contemplated, he shill certify suet act to the City council .
Section 6. The Di;Oster shall not be entitled to receive the co:apensa-
tion herein provided for until such Ji ;est has been certified as correct by
the Police Judge and approved b;; the City 'Jouncil.
Section 7 . This Ordinance shczll take effect and be in force from and
after its passa,^e and publication.
