# An ordinance to provide for the cancelation o'i'
and re - issue of . outstanding Warrants of the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas .
Be it ordained by the City council of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas ,
Section 1 . That all outstanding ''iarrants or
Script issued by the City of Fayetteville prior to the 10th
of April , 1009 , be and the same is , hereby called in for the
purpose of examination , cancellation and re - issue as provided
in Section 5508 to 5512 inclusive of ifirby ' s Digest .
Section 2 . That all such outstanding ,Tarrants
or Script shall be presented to the City Council on the
26th day of August , 1 :, 09 , or such '.;'arrants or Script may
be filed with the City Clerk prior to that date in -which
cage the City Clerk shall receipt for the same and shall
present all 7.1arrants or Script so filed , to the City Council
on the said 26th day of August , 14: Oii , for cancellation and
re - issue .
Section That all outstanding ' arrants or
Script issued by the City prior to the said 100th day of
April , 1909 , v:hic:i is not presented to the Cit ;, Cou , cil
on the said 26th day of 4iugust , 1909 , shall thereafter be nu '
and, void and the holder thereofshallbe forever barred
` from ueriving any benefit from their clair. s . '

Section 4 . That the City= Clerk shall po ,' t and
publish a copy of this orders as provided in Section 5509
of Kirby ' s Digest and he shall on the said 26th day of
August , 1509 , submit to the City Council oroff of such post-
r ingr and publication .
