AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF CERTAIN TERRITORY WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , INTO AN IMPROVE-
HENT DISTRICT , DESIGNATING THE NUMBER , DEFINIEG THE BOUNDARIES
THEREOF AND NAMING THE SAME .
Whereas at a meeting of the City Council of the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansas , '.field on the 27th day of May , 1909 ,
a petetion signed by more ten resident property owners within
the districe herein after d•iscribed in section 1 of this
ordinance was presented to said council asking that it take
steps toward making of on improvement consisting of the south
half of blocks 24 , 250 26 , and the north half of blocks 31 , 32 ,
33 , for the purpose of improving Test Mountain Street from
Block to South School Street .
And whereas in said petetion it was further petetioned
that the Council lay off the said described territory in to
an improvement district for making said improvement , now therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTT ,'ILi:E , ARKANSAS .
Section 1 . That the following lots , blocks and parcels
of real estate situated in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
be and the same are hereby laid off and declared to be an improve -
ment district within said City to -wit : -
Test Mountain Street from Block Street to School Street
consisting of the south hafl of Blocks 24 , 25 , and 26 , and the
north half of Blocks 31 , 320 33 . Original plan of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas ( said territory abutting on said West ~
Mountain Street . )
Section 2 . That said district shall be known and desig-
nated as West Mountain Street improvement district no . l , of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Section 3 . That said district is laid off for the

purpose of Macadamizing said West Mountain Street from Block
Street to South School Street and said improvements to be
made :in such manner 'and to extend hereinafter to be determined
by the majority in value of the owners of real property within
such ddstrict .
Section 4 .
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed and
that this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and publication .
