An ordinance Authorizi;:g the St Louis and San Francisco R . R . M . , to
Build , Maintain and Operate a witch or Spur Track across Dickson and
Wiest strroets near the Frisco Depot ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY TFLP CITY Council of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas :
Sec . I. . That the Saint Louis & San Francisco Railroad Company be and
it hereby is authorized to build , maintain and operate a Switch
a
or Spur Track conunencin -. on the South lire or Dickson street
at a point Vest of the Northwest corner of the Ozark Grocery
Company ' s building and connecting with a siding of said rail -
road company at said point and running in a Northeasterly
direction across Dickson street to a point just west of Lot
Five ( 51 , in Block six ( 6 ) , in the County Court Addition to the
City of Fayetteville , thence across )lost street in a 'North.
easterly direction into the plant of the Northwest Arkansas
Lwsbor Company .
$ec . 2 . The said railroad company in consideration of the right of way above
Given , alg ecs end is hereby required to plank between the rails
and on the ends of the ties or to otherwise provide suitable
crossings on both Dickson and test streets .
Sec . 3 . That this ordinance take effect from and after its passage .
PAS LLD AND APPROVED this 13th Day of April , 1508 .
