An 0 ante to prohibit the selling or giving away of .any Alcholic ,
Malt Vinous , Ardent , or fermented Liquors , including Native Wines ,
withi the corrorated limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Sectio One : That it shall. be unlawful for any person to sell ,
barter or"vve away either for himself or another, or to procure or
to purchase fdr. another any Alcoholic , Malt , Vinous , Ardent or
fermented Liquors , or any compound or preparation thereof commonly
called , tonic , bitterd•,,i or medicated liquors or intoxicating
ti
Spirits of any character wh.. ich are used and drank as a beverage ,
including Native Wine , with * the corporate limits of the City of
Payetteville , Arkansas ,
Section Two: That any per on violating any of the provisions
of section One of this Ordinance she. 1 be deemed guilty of a Misde-
meanor, and upon conviction thereof s 1 be fined in any sum not
less than Fifty Dollars , nor more tha Two Hundred Dollars and in
addition thereto shall be improsoned the County Jail of Washington
County, not less than thirty days , no more than a year.
Section Three : That all Ord71abe
ces , in conflict with this Ordinance
are repealed , and this Ordinance shain force from and after its
passage and publication . j
